Project Surcharges
Project surcharges let you add fixed fees or percentage-based charges on top of the calculated article costs. They apply to the entire project and are added after all article costs have been computed.
Open project surcharges
Click Edit Project Surcharges directly in the main toolbar (next to Edit Project Name and Edit Graph Attachments, near the left side of the toolbar) to open the dialog.
What you can add

| Flat fee | A fixed amount added once to the project total |
| Percentage | A percentage of the current project subtotal |
Surcharges are applied after cost calculation — they do not affect individual article or work step costs, only the final project total that appears in the cost analysis and exports.
Typical Uses
- Packing fee — flat fee added when the project requires special packaging
- Transport surcharge — percentage or flat fee for delivery
- Admin or documentation fee — fixed charge for certificates or special documentation
- Rush order surcharge — percentage markup for expedited production
Where surcharges appear
Surcharges are included in the project-level cost analysis and in all export formats (Local Export, ERP Export, BOM Export). The surcharge amount is added as a separate line item in the cost summary.
TIP
Surcharges apply to the whole project. For per-article extra charges, edit the article's selling price directly in the Tree View or Details panel.
