Settings

This section covers everything you need to configure WSi and get started with your first project.

Quick Setup

1. Activate your license key — required before the app will run.
2. Configure client settings — connect to your server and adjust preferences.
3. Single-part import — import a part file and see it in the app.

Settings Reference

The Settings section in the sidebar gives you direct access to individual setting pages:

• Localization — language, units, currency
• 3D View — mouse buttons, projection, zoom
• GUI Config — cost display, duration format, count visibility
• Autosave — interval, directory, max backups
• Nestor Settings — sheet and tube nesting behaviour
• Screw Thread Assignment — automatic tap and drill rules
• CAD Import — sheet upper-side strategy
• BOM CSV — component types and work steps
• Project Export — default file export options
• Database — view and edit the WSi database tables
