Filter Panel
The Filter panel lets you narrow the Graph View to nodes matching specific criteria — by process type, cost range, article, or workstep status.
The Filter panel lets you narrow down the articles and work steps shown in the Tree View using a text search box and a set of graphical filters. Use it to focus on a specific subset of your project — for example, all parts made from a particular material, or all parts whose names contain a given string.
Text Filter
At the top of the panel is a single-line text input. Type any text to filter the tree — only items whose name or reference numbers contain the text remain visible. The filter is applied in real time as you type.
Click the Clear button (or clear the text manually) to remove the text filter.
Graphical Filters
Below the text filter, the panel provides a set of graphical filter controls. Each filter is a group of checkboxes and sliders that you can enable or disable independently:
- Thickness — filter by sheet or tube thickness.
- Tube Profile — filter by tube cross-section profile.
- State Level — filter by processing state.
- Feature — filter by manufacturing features (cutting, bending, welding, and so on).
- Comment — filter by comment content.
- Attachment — filter by attachment presence.
Enable a checkbox to include that filter criterion. The tree updates to show only items that match all currently enabled filters combined with the text filter (if any).
Similarity Mode
Some filters support a similarity mode that lets you include items that are close but not an exact match. A slider adjusts the similarity threshold — moving it closer to the maximum includes more items, while moving it toward the minimum requires a stricter match.
Toolbar
The graphical filters have one button:

TIP
Flatten, Deepen, Collapse All, Expand All, and Settings are Tree View toolbar buttons, not part of the Filter panel. Use the Tree View's Settings button to show or hide columns.
Relationship to the Tree View
The filter only affects what you see in the Tree View — it does not change the project data. All articles and work steps remain in the project; they are hidden from view when they do not match the active filters.
When you clear all filters, the Tree View returns to showing all items.
