Assembly View
The Assembly View displays a 3D preview of the currently selected article's geometry.
The Assembly View shows a 3D preview of the assembled part — the full geometry of all articles and work steps combined into a single view. Use it to inspect the overall shape, check clearances, and verify that the assembly is correct before exporting.
What it displays
The view renders the assembly as a 3D model using the WSi geometry engine. You can rotate, pan, and zoom the model to inspect it from any angle.
When you select an article or work step in the Tree View or Graph View, the corresponding geometry is highlighted in the Assembly View.
Interacting with the Model
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Rotate | Left-click and drag |
| Pan | Middle-click and drag |
| Zoom | Scroll the mouse wheel |
| Select geometry | Click on a part |
| Deselect all | Click empty space |
The view updates automatically whenever the project data changes.
Conditional Availability
The Assembly View is only shown when 3D views are enabled in your licence. If you do not see the panel, check the Window menu to confirm it is available.
