Export

WSi produces exportable data at every stage of the workflow. You can save results to your local machine or send them directly to an ERP system.

Choose Your Export Method

Method	When to use
Local Export — JSON file saved to your machine or a network drive	Sharing data with colleagues, backing up snapshots, feeding external tools
ERP Export — JSON sent directly to an ERP system via URL	Sending data to a connected ERP system without manual file handling

Both export types produce JSON — either a graph representation (full project structure with geometry, articles, and embedded CAD files) or a BOM (bill of materials with components, work steps, costs, and dimensions), depending on your configuration.

Common Workflow

1. Run a process on a part to generate manufacturing data (cutting contours, bend data, costs).
2. Review the results in the Graph view or part parameters.
3. Export via File → Export, choosing Local or ERP depending on your destination.
4. The exported JSON is ready for further use — sharing, archiving, or integration.

Export Settings

Beyond the JSON export methods above, WSi also supports Project Export — a configurable multi-file export that writes CAD geometry, visualisations, documents, and attachments to a folder. Configure which files are generated and how they are named in Export Settings.
