Details Panel

The Details panel shows per-node and per-article information — geometry, material, quantities, cost breakdown, and user data fields.

The Details panel shows comprehensive information about whatever article or work step is currently selected in the Tree View. It updates automatically as your selection changes.

What it displays

When a work step is selected, the panel shows two sections:

  • Brief — the process name, material, geometry (dimensions, thickness, or profile), quantity, and manufacturing cost.
  • Details — a full breakdown including setup time, unit time, material cost, commercial cost (COP), selling price, consumables, comments, and any issues or warnings. Below this are the work-step-specific details — for example, sheet cutting shows contour count, nesting information, and scrap; bending shows bend angles and radii.

When an article is selected, the panel shows:

  • A scale prices table — cost of production and net selling price per quantity tier
  • The article's name, reference numbers (external and internal), comment, input file, material description, geometry description, and mass

Relationship to Other Panels

The Details panel is read-only — it only displays information. To edit something, use the Tree View directly (double-click a name cell or any reference number cell to edit inline).

When you select an item in the Tree View, the Details panel updates immediately. When you select a node in the Graph View, the Tree View selection updates, which in turn updates the Details panel.

The panel is part of the right-side tab group alongside Cost Analysis and Messages — click a tab to switch between them.

Currency and Localization

If you change the language or currency setting, the panel refreshes all values to reflect the new locale. This applies to cost figures, unit times, and any localized text.
