Node Context Menu

Right-click a node in the Graph View to open the context menu. The actions available depend on the node type and what processes have been applied.

The menu has two groups — main actions and file export actions.

Main Actions

These are the primary editing operations:

ActionWhat it does
Edit ProcessChange the process type or parameters for this node
Edit Sheet Material and ProcessChange the sheet material and/or manufacturing process
Edit Tube Material and ProcessChange the tube material and/or process
Edit Purchase Part MaterialChange the material for a purchased/external part
Edit MultiplicityChange the number of copies of this article
Edit ThicknessOverride the material thickness for this node
Edit Bending ToolsChoose the upper die, lower die, and punch for die bending
Edit Flip Side UsageSpecify whether the part is flipped before or after the operation
Edit Bend CorrectionAdjust the bend deduction or compensation values
Edit Nesting ModeChoose how parts are arranged on the sheet — Actual Individual, Actual Mixed, or Virtual Individual
Edit Tube FilterSet a filter for tube profile or specification
Edit Test ReportEnable or disable test report generation for this node
Edit 2D Rep RotationsSet rotation angles for the 2D representation
Edit Deburring ParametersConfigure deburring speed and parameters
Edit Joining SequenceDefine the order in which welds or joins are applied
Edit Calc User InputEnter custom calculation values used by this process
Edit Calc ParametersAdjust the cost calculation parameters
Edit User-Defined Sheet PropertiesSet custom sheet-level property values
Edit User-Defined Tube PropertiesSet custom tube-level property values
Edit CoatingAssign or change the coating applied to this part
Edit CommentAdd or edit a text comment on this node
Edit Node AttachmentsAttach files or documents to this node
Edit Number of ThreadsSet the number of thread holes for this part
Edit Number of CountersinksSet the number of countersunk holes
Edit Tapping ParametersConfigure tapping settings for this node
Edit Sheet Tapping ParametersConfigure tapping settings at the sheet level
Edit Engraving ConfigSet engraving speed and power for laser operations
Recompute NestingsRe-run the nesting algorithm for this node
Prepend NodesAdd a new node before this one in the sequence
Append NodesAdd a new node after this one in the sequence
Join Terminal ArticlesConnect the first and last articles in a sequence
Delete NodesRemove this node from the graph. Shortcut: Ctrl+D
Delete ArticlesRemove the entire article and all its nodes. Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+D
Show Geometric ProblemsHighlight geometry issues such as overlapping contours or invalid paths
Enforce ClassificationForce WSi to re-classify the node type
Convert to Purchase PartMark this article as externally sourced instead of manufactured in-house
Dump IOPExport the internal operation file for this node
Export LSTExport a laser tool path file
IT-Blech: Edit External Work Step Article NumberSet the Fremdleistungsartikelnummer for IT-Blech ERP export

File export actions

These export geometry or visualisation files directly from the node:

ActionWhat it produces
Export STEP (Input)3D STEP file of the loaded input geometry
Export STEP (Generated)3D STEP file of the manufacturing output
Export DXF2D DXF cutting file
Export GEO2D Gmsh geometry file
Export SVG2D SVG vector file
Export HTML (Input Assembly)HTML 3D viewer of the input geometry
Export HTML (Generated Assembly)HTML 3D viewer of the generated output
Export Unfold to DXFUnfolded sheet geometry as a DXF file
Export Unfold to SVGUnfolded sheet geometry as an SVG file

TIP

The available actions change depending on the node type. Sheet cutting nodes show material, nesting, and test report options. Bending nodes show die, bend correction, and flip side options. Joining nodes show joining sequence options. Right-click any node and choose Edit Test Report to enable or disable test report generation for that operation.
