Localization Settings
Configure how WSi displays numbers, measurements, and currency to match your region's conventions.
Open via Settings → Client → Localization.
Language
Select the language for the WSi interface. WSi supports 25+ languages.
Changing the language applies immediately — the interface updates without needing to restart.
Unit System
Choose the default unit system for the current project:
| Unit system | What it affects |
|---|---|
| Metric | Millimetres, kilograms, square metres |
| Imperial | Inches, pounds, square feet |
You can override the unit system per article when importing files.
Imperial display style
When the unit system is set to imperial, this controls how fractional and decimal values are shown — for example, whether 0.375 is displayed as 3/8 or as a decimal.
Currency
Set the currency symbol used in cost displays, quotes, and exports. The symbol appears in the Cost Analysis panel and on all exported documents.
TIP
Currency and unit settings affect how values are displayed. Changing these settings does not convert existing data — it only changes how that data is shown.
